Good Morning Hudson Valley, we’ve got a beautiful start to our Sunday weather. Temps across the region as of 10am are right around 70°, and the sun is shining through some high cirrus clouds. Saturday saw clouds hang tough throughout the day, but it appears that Sunday will do it’s best to live up to it’s name. Look for partly cloudy conditions to carry us thru the afternoon… with high temperatures within a few degrees of 80°. One of the best parts of today’s forecast, will be the low humidity. We’ve been very lucky for much of this summer in terms of heat and humidity, and today will be no exception. Hopefully you’re able to get out there and enjoy a gorgeous afternoon.
Taking a brief look ahead, Alex had mentioned yesterday about a potential increase in the heat and humidity. That still appears likely, as our flow slowly shifts to be more out of the southwest. We’re not talking about a major heat wave… but definitely weather that is more like what you might expect for mid July. Here’s a quick snapshot of the GFS high temperatures for Wednesday, approaching 90° in spots.
