Hazy… Hot… and of course…. Humid. The story of the last few days, plays itself out once again…
Sunshine and blue skies will be the story on Wednesday… but we’ll see those blue skies become quite hazy as the day progresses. The same ridge of high pressure that has protected us for the last several days, will continue it’s grip over the Hudson Valley’s weather. If you like summer weather… then you couldn’t ask for more. The humidity will be noticeable again today, making it feel a few degrees warmer than it really is. If you’re going to be outside for an extended period of time… be sure to bring plenty of water, and limit strenuous activity a bit. We’re reaching the point in the season, where some people could take the heat for granted… so just remember to take it a little easy out there.
On Thursday, we’ll see a weak frontal boundary slip into the northeast, and this could touch off a few spotty afternoon storms in the afternoon. As it stands now, the threat looks rather limited… as moisture won’t be readily available. But it’s enough of a threat that it is worth mentioning. We’ll keep tabs on it for you, and let you know what we’ve got in the Thursday Outlook.
