The calendar may say October 7th… but the weather is going to be so beautiful on Wednesday, it will feel more like mid September…
A ridge of high pressure has taken hold over the eastern United States, and that translates into quiet, tranquil weather for the eastern 1/3 of the country. We’ll see sunshine and warmth spread across the Hudson Valley… as afternoon highs try to push into the mid 70s. Some fantastic weather… considering the average is about 10 degrees cooler.
Thursday looks like a winner as well… maybe just a couple degrees cooler. But by the time Friday rolls around, a cold front will push down from Canada, and touch off some showers across the region. Friday afternoon and evening appear to be the most unsettled… with the shower threat diminishing overnight. With a little luck, that should leave us with some nice, fall weather for the weekend.
