Was just browsing through some weather models (cause thats what I do with my evenings) when I came across something I felt was worth sharing. Below are three images from three different forecast models, the GFS,EURO and Canadian, as of this evening they all share one common thread. They all show a storm trying to spin up in on the tail end of a cold front that moves through our region next week. Now all three models as expected have the systems hundreds of miles from each other, pretty typical of any forecast information that is a week in the future. Nevertheless all three models seeing the same potential is always worth mentioning, if we do in fact see a tropical system develop next week it will bare the name Edouard. At the moment it would be impossible to say with any bit of accuracy if, one this storm will actually develop, two if it would ever reach tropical storm strength, or develop tropical characteristics. All of this is nothing more than thinking out loud at the moment, and a look into some interesting model data this evening, we will continue to monitor the situation and if the probability ever becomes more than low, we will be the first to keep you all informed.
