Overnight clouds will increase ahead of an approaching Alberta Clipper, snow breaks out from SW to NE across the region between 3-5AM. Snow ends between 4-6pm with a total accumulation of 2-5 inches across the region. Below is a snowfall forecast from the NAM model showing where some of the pockets of heavier snow may be. Thanks to very cold overnight temps, snow should not have an issue accumulating quickly on roads, just in time for the morning commute. Snow may become moderate to heavy at times through mid morning into the early afternoon reducing visibility at times.
