Cloudy start across parts of the region this morning, breaks of sun and partly cloudy skies are likely by this afternoon. Temps will be a touch cooler than yesterday with mid to upper 50’s being common. Clouds increase later tonight as a cold front approaches the region, temps ahead of this front with jump into the mid to upper 60’s.
This front will bring a good round of rain to the region and even a few isolated thunderstorms. We may see some gusty winds also push down to the surface within some of the storms of heavier downpours.
Cooler temps slide in behind the front for tomorrow night with high dropping all the way back down into the 30’s. Good news is the frontal passage will also set the stage for a gorgeous weekend with lots of sunshine and temps near 60.
