Those of us hoping to hold onto a little bit of summer, can’t be too disappointed at our current weather pattern.
Thursday should see a mix of sunshine and high clouds, along with a warm west/southwest wind. Dew points should be pretty comfortable, around 60°. When we factor in afternoon highs approaching 80°, that should make for a warm, comfortable summer-like afternoon. Anyone with outdoor plans should be quite pleased. There is a slight chance of a stray afternoon shower (roughly 20% chance)… but the vast majority of the region should stay dry.
As we push into Friday, we should see more clouds, and temps drop a couple degrees. But still with highs projected well into the 70s, temps should be above normal heading into the weekend.
We’re watching the threat of a tropical disturbance pushing into the southeast over the weekend, and then pushing northward. The result could be some rain impacting our area by late on Sunday and into Monday. We’ll keep an eye on that for you as we move through the weekend.
Otherwise, enjoy some outstanding early autumn weather!
