The storm has exited… and left the Hudson Valley in a truly awesome situation…
After the stormy and unsettled conditions of the past couple days… Thursday is a welcome change! Lots of sunshine, blue skies… and afternoon highs a degree or two above 80°. The best part… a light breeze out of the northwest will translate into very comfortable humidity. Top that for mid August!
Summer reminds us who’s in charge this weekend… as we’ll see a gradual increase in the heat and humidity.
Friday looks absolutely fantastic as well… just a bit warmer (85° to 90°). The humidity should stay manageable thru Friday at least, so enjoy that!
Saturday… is looking better by the day. Originally a front looked to create a stormy situation for the Hudson Valley. Now… that front may stay in Canada, and keep us in the sunshine… as temps push 90° and the humidity becomes a bit uncomfortable.
Then on Sunday… the heat and humidity will be in effect, as we likely crack 90° in parts of the valley, along with some elevated humidity.
By Monday… well… it is summer after all….
We’ll be tracking the heat as we approach the weekend… so keep checking here for more information. Also, be sure to check out the HVW 5 DAY FORECAST for all the forecast details.
Have a great Thursday afternoon!
