An ocean storm is spinning hundreds of miles off the coast… and it was expected to throw moisture and clouds back into the Hudson Valley today. While we’ll still see some clouds and increased humidity… it doesn’t look as cloudy and damp as originally expected…
The ocean storm is not going to reach quite as far west as originally expected… so it will not be a cloudy, dreary day. We’ll still get the humidity off the ocean… and we’ll see some clouds (especially in the afternoon). With the increasing periods of clouds… will come the threat of a scattered shower, or even a thunderstorm. So while the day is looking better… it’s still looking quite humid, and be aware that the threat still exists for a shower or storm.
We could see some fog tonight, as the humidity really settles into the Hudson Valley.
Monday looks to start with some clouds and fog… but they should burn off, leaving a mix of clouds and sunshine. The humidity looks to be rather high, with the flow coming straight out of the south. That will lead us into a chance of showers and thunderstorms by late afternoon and evening on Monday. For complete details… please check the:
HVW 5 DAY FORECAST
