Saturday was the warmest day since September 28th, when Poughkeepsie’s high was 86°. Saturday surpassed expectations, and became a summer preview for the Hudson Valley… with highs more typical of mid June than mid April.
But we’ll see some big changes on Sunday, as much cooler air filters back into the Hudson Valley…
While Sunday’s temps (low 60s) will be much cooler than Saturday, we’re still looking at temperatures that are average for this time of year.
In terms of sunshine… we should see a fair amount of that as well…
Clouds appear likely to mix with the sunshine, but not a half bad day to close out the weekend.
We do have some rain to deal with beginning late Sunday night, and lasting into Monday.
The rain will last into Monday, and will provide the Hudson Valley with some much needed April rainfall, likely over 1 inch. For more details on the forecast, please check out the HVW 5 Day Forecast.
Hope you enjoyed Saturday… and we also hope you have a great Sunday as well!
