Sunday: Mostly Sunny and warm, with comfortable humidity. High in the mid to upper 80s.
Sunday Night: Clear and comfortable. Low in the mid 50s.
Monday: Partly Cloudy, warm and comfortable. High in the mid 80s.
“It’s a dry heat”… that’s what they say out west when it’s 100° or more, with low humidity. While it won’t be anywhere near that hot… I suppose our Sunday weather could be described as a dry heat. Humidity levels are projected to be quite low, and afternoon highs should reach the mid and upper 80s, so it will be a rather dry heat. The sunshine will be plentiful as well… as clouds will be few and far between. A better mid-summer Sunday will be difficult to come by.
Monday looks just as good… maybe a degree or two cooler, but still with comfortable levels of humidity. So the week gets off to a nice start. But things begin to change on Tuesday. A storm system will push into the Great Lakes region, and rotate through the Northeast. With it, comes a decent amount of moisture, and that should spread across the area between Tuesday and Wednesday. Early rainfall projections vary, but this GFS computer model image is a good average of the potential at this time.
The details will continue to unfold as we get closer… but for now, the second half of Tuesday and first half of Wednesday look to see the worst of the weather.
Time to wrap up this post. Saturday was a great day… just busy. It’s funny… before becoming a father 3 years ago, I was the type of guy who kicked back and relaxed on weekends. Now… even the days where I feel like it’s going to be a “slow” day, turn out to be busy. Between housework and yard work… I lost the first 2/3 of the day, and then I took the Weather Munchkin over to go swimming at Grandma’s house. She’s like a fish, and we had a great time. But the day went by in a blink, and I feel like I spent the majority of the day running around in circles. I went from lazy weekender to busy Daddy in just a short amount of time. But somehow… I think I have much more fun than I used to. Life is funny like that.
Ok… ok… that’s enough self analysis for one evening. I hope you’re Sunday turns out to be a great one!
