-A quick update on the storm, more in-depth update coming later this morning-
Clouds continue will begin to increase across the region this morning, light snow spreads across the region from west to east as early as late this afternoon or evening. Most areas see snow by the overnight, snow starts light and gradually increases to a moderate intensity by tomorrow morning. 1-4 inches possible by morning. Moderate snow continues tomorrow morning into early afternoon accumulations of an additional 3-5 inches. Snow may have a brief lull in the afternoon, but will quickly redevelop or re-intensify with moderate to heavy snow possible for the late afternoon into the overnight. Blowing and drifting of snow is possible late tomorrow into the overnight, this coupled with very low temperatures means an extended period of poor road conditions for the entire region. Snow tapers off between after midnight on Thursday and early Friday morning with total accumulations between 7-14 inches, less possible as you head further south. Very cold temps and wind will combine to form dangerous wind-chills tomorrow. Winter storm watches are currently in effect for the entire region. Another update coming by later this morning, stay tuned.
