Friday, we saw the heat build across the Hudson Valley… but the humidity was still very comfortable for August. Saturday, we’ll see the heat rise a bit more, but the humidity will also rise just a bit…
A frontal boundary to our north will filter clouds into our northern most areas on Saturday… as the day progresses. Everyone starts out mostly sunny, but the clouds move in quickly up north… while the sun holds on longer in the southern half of the Hudson Valley. Along with these clouds… come the threat of a spotty thundershower. The chances are low… but something to be mindful of.
The heat and humidity will rise a bit… expecting highs within a degree or two of 90°. The humidity will be low enough… that it shouldn’t be too uncomfortable on Saturday.
That appears reserved for Sunday and points beyond… as we head into the longest stretch of heat this summer so far. If we hit 90° on Saturday… it’s likely to occur for 3 more consecutive days. It’s not until mid week… where we possibly begin the cool down. Just take a look at the projection for Sunday…
Definitely a summer weekend across the valley. As always, please check the 5 day forecast for more details.
