We’ve had a good run of weather over the past several months. But the weather this weekend… at times… will feel like an early winter preview…
The cold front passed thru the Hudson Valley Friday night, and we now have a strong NW wind that is ushering in the coldest air of the season so far. Clouds will mix with a good deal of sunshine… but a localized rain shower or even wet snow flake (higher elevations) is possible during the afternoon hours. Don’t expect temperatures to rise much above 50°, so you’ll want to have a jacket with you thru the day.
Saturday night… the growing season comes to an end for the Hudson Valley.
Winds will diminish, and the temperatures will fall below freezing for the 1st time since spring. Any sensitive vegetation should be brought indoors for protection.
The story continues on Sunday, as the temperatures struggle to get back to 50° under a mix of clouds and sunshine. A very fall like… if not almost early winterish feel across the Hudson Valley this weekend. Bundle up and stay warm, everyone!
