After a snowy Sunday… Monday is looking nice and quiet. We’ll see a bit of wind, but the clouds should mix with periods of sun, and temps should rise into the mid 30s… allowing for a little bit of melting. Preliminary fan reports indicate that on average, snowfall totals were between 3 and 7 inches. (We’ll have a storm recap with snow totals in the Monday night update, since final data won’t be available until after this post is complete.)
However we don’t have a lot of time to dwell on the events from Sunday, we’ve got another system on the way for Tuesday afternoon and night. This time, the warm air will surge aloft…. so the entire area should see a change from snow… to sleet and freezing rain. We’ll be breaking down the details on Monday… but here’s a first look at things.
