Welcome to Fall… well, not for another week or so.
Clouds will mix with sunshine during the morning hours… as a stiff WNW breeze blows across the Hudson Valley. The combination of this breeze and the cool temps in the 60s during the morning, will make it feel very much like Fall. During the afternoon… we’ll see some improvement, as the clouds should begin to diminish. The increasing sunshine, should help warm temps above the 70° mark.
Things clear out tonight, and remain that way for the next few days. Another stretch of beautiful weather is heading our way. Complete details can be found in the 5 day forecast below:
HVW 5 DAY FORECAST
The rainfall from over the weekend, all depended on where you live. If you live in Pawling, you’re probably wondering what all the fuss is about. You only saw between .25″ and .50″ of rain. But, if you live in Woodstock… you’re probably glad your house isn’t floating down the river. Many up that way, saw between 4 and 6 inches of rainfall on Saturday, as a band of heavy rain set up shop over their heads. Here’s a map from the NWS, breaking down the rainfall from Saturday. This RFC map, uses a combination of radar estimates and rainfall reports from spotters, to create the map.
Have a great Monday, Hudson Valley!
