A weak storm system is passing by to our south, and it could spread a few snow showers and flurries into the Hudson Valley Monday morning…
There’s not a lot of moisture for the system to work with, but the system could squeeze out a few wet snow showers in places… before temperatures warm up and change any wet snow showers to cold rain showers.
Afternoon highs will remain below average on Monday, with temps only climbing into the low to mid 40s during the day. By mid day, the moisture should push offshore, and a few breaks of sunshine are possible through the afternoon hours.
Our cooler than average temperatures will continue through the work week. Tuesday will see a northerly flow with a mix of clouds and sunshine and temps in the mid 40s. With more of the same as we push toward Wednesday.
This jet stream pattern will keep us near or below average through most of the week, as the jet suppresses the mild air to our south. Have a great Monday!
