Friday: Breezy with clouds giving way to breaks of sunshine. High in the low 60s.
Friday Night: Mainly clear and cool. Low in the upper 30s to low 40s.
Saturday: Mostly sunny and beautiful. High in the low to mid 60s.
Just another gorgeous day across the Hudson Valley on Thursday… so long as you like multiple days of clouds and cool temps. Poughkeepsie’s high on Thursday was only 51° and Montgomery was 52°. The story of course, is the rainfall over the past few days. Poughkeepsie had 1.30″ of rain since Tuesday morning, and Montgomery had 1.21″… so a general 1 to 2 inches of rainfall across the valley in the past few days.
So now comes the payoff! After multiple days of on and off periods of rain, no sunshine, and a biting wind… starting on Friday, the sun returns! Clouds will break up as we go thru the day… and while the wind will still be blowing out of the northwest, the sun will likely push temps into the low 60s. By Saturday, the wind dies down… the sun is shining… and temps could approach 65° in a couple places. Sunday looks pretty good… a few more clouds, possibly a spotty shower in the morning, but compared to the past few days… it still looks like a winner.
Ok… time to get back to the winter outlook. Alex and I have been spending most every night putting this thing together, and we’re getting close. But there is work to be done, so no time to really chat right now. We can’t tell you how much we appreciate your support. You guys are awesome! Have a great day Friday, and either Alex or I will see you Friday night / Saturday morning. TGIF!
