Rain is falling steadily across the region this morning, and if nothing else… it’s pushed the heat and humidity out of the area.
We expect to see this area of rain push east as we approach the noon hour. That should leave us with a mainly cloudy sky for the afternoon across the Hudson Valley…
You can see the simulated satellite and radar for 2pm shows clouds holding steady over the Hudson Valley (circled). A few spot showers are also possible… but otherwise mostly cloudy skies are the story for later today. We’re seeing some data that shows another round of showers pushing into the area between 6pm and midnight tonight. So that could bring one more period of light to moderate rain through the HV… before conditions improve on Saturday.
