The weather locally remains quite quiet and quite nice. With Hurricane Irma approaching South Florida in the coming day or two, the weather locally is very nice.
Expect partly to mostly sunny skies for our Friday. We’ll have a light north wind through the day, which will provide a slight touch of instability to the atmosphere this afternoon. As a result, a brief, light rain shower is possible in a few spots. Afternoon highs will be cool for early September… only approaching 70°. Humidity levels will be low as well, so almost a fall like feel to the air today.
After a cool night tonight, another nice day lies ahead on Saturday. Sunshine, a couple clouds, and afternoon highs again approaching 70°. The current air mass is bringing us temps a good 5 to 10 degrees below average. So while we’ll have nice weather this weekend, it will be a bit of an early fall preview.
We’ll try to share some updates on Hurricane Irma a little later. But you can check out our Facebook page for some excellent thoughts on the storm from Alex. Have a great Friday!
