** Localized Icy Spots this Morning **
Temperatures in parts of the region are right around freezing this morning. With the rain we had overnight, there are patchy areas of black ice. Take it slow… and if the roads look wet, it could be ice!
The sunshine should take over the weather picture after the spotty icy start. Our flow will be out of the NW, and that should keep temperatures in the low to mid 40s for most of the day across the Hudson Valley. Not too far off where we should be for this time of year. November finished about 1.5 degrees below average… and we’ll see a rather mild start to the month of December. Nothing warm by any stretch… but compared to what is coming, it will seem beautiful.
Remember… winter is coming, and it will pack a punch… in about 7 days…
