The cold front that triggered showers and thunderstorms yesterday afternoon into the overnight will completely clear the region by later this morning. It’s passage will be marked by drier and cooler air with winds shifting out of the north. Clouds will linger a but this morning but clearing should begin by late morning into the early afternoon.
We will also see winds increase later today, this combined with the overall dry conditions will once again mean that conditions will be favorable for the spread of brush/wild fires. Highs today and tomorrow will be much cooler with 60’s being the theme, tonight clearing sky’s, and cold air in the wake of the front will allow temps to drop below freezing in some locations overnight. Please take steps to protect sensitive vegetation.
Next week still looks a bit unsettled to start, but more importantly it means some much needed rainfall is likely. Everyone have a great start to your weekend, and as always thanks for all of the great support.
